1. Check the fit
- PDF batch: selectable text and exactly one unique recipient ID on every page. Scans, passwords and interactive forms are unsupported. The free beta checks the whole roster and exports the first 3 recipients.
- Software choice: two candidate tools, one must-have feature, expected usage and a real decision date. We check official sources and flag unknowns; a documented claim is not a hands-on test.
